Texxas Heat is a group of seasoned musicians that delivers hard driving rock and roll, red hot blues, and a little bit of Texas country mixed in. With a solid rhythm section of bass and drums, our three guitar players play in concert those songs most bands are afraid to try.  We play all over North Texas and Southern Oklahoma.  Give us a listen – you won’t be disappointed!

Gary Rivers is a veteran musician that sings and plays lead guitar.  He has played in numerous rock and blues bands in his 30 year career.  Gary has a passion for blues, rock, alternative and country music.  His guitar style is true to the classic rock feel but with an added edge that makes it his own.

Ray Hurst delivers they keys and sings vocals.   The latest edition to the band, Ray rounds out the band with diverse talents that expands the depth of capabilities.  An extremely talented musician, Ray delivers a soulful dimension to every show.

Randy Davis brings versatility and experience in his lead and slide guitar playing.  This talented musician has over 30 years’ experience in a variety of rock, blues and country bands.  Randy’s arsenal of guitars allows him to match the instrument with the song, whether it is a screaming lead on a rock song, a soulful groove in a blues tune, or a full bodied feel for a Texas Country number.

 David Norris provides a solid rhythm guitar performance that is meticulously sharp.  His killer licks compliment the other two guitars to give the full bodied sound most bands only hope to get. 

 Larry Lewis delivers a hard driving, rock solid bass line for the band. This expert musician brings a level of talent and experience that is the basis of the rhythm section.  He has the ability to understand complex arrangements and play exactly what is needed.  He lays down the groove and is the blood flow of the band.   

 Joe Jaska rounds out the group on drums.  His style of play is true to the music, but adds a unique flair that compliments the talent on stage.  A skilled percussionist with a passion for live music, he brings a consistent meter that ties to the bass for the heartbeat of the band.
